Coaching and Sustaining CI Behaviors – OptimaLIVE

Thursday, May 28 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

Event Description

Sustaining desired behaviors across an organization can be challenging. It seems that often we take one step forward and several steps back as it relates to continuous improvement activities. Join us for a discussion that focuses on how we can use some basic principles to support and sustain CI behaviors in our organizations. We will explore what behaviors support and sustain CI in “lean” companies (what it looks like) and will self-assess what may need to happen in our own organizations to build and practice those behaviors. We must recognize that supportive and sustained CI behavior may well require changes in behaviors; not all in our organization are comfortable with and therefore must be consciously managed and developed.

Learning Objectives:

• Understanding the importance of respect for people in the change process

• Explore the ideas around managing expectations in ourselves and those we lead

• Learn how to create or change a habit

• The importance of defining what good looks like

• The power of deliberate practice

• Understanding that people development requires patience
