Savvy Consortium Meeting | Nexen Group, Inc.

Our June and July Savvy meetings highlighted both research and practical experience which shows that product development people and processes improve when managers and teams meet face to face.  In the spirit of that discussion, our August meeting will be in person at Nexen Group in Vadnais Heights.

We invite you to participate in this knowledge-rich Savvy learning event with other high performance Savvy managers.

Dave Hein, Senior Vice President, Engineering & Chief Technology Officer at Nexen Group, Inc. will review his legacy innovation engineering tools: VOC and set-based design. Dave Hein is the early adopter of Toyota Lean Product Development Process, which Savvy members learned in 2005.  Dave will show his team’s case studies in which they employed VOC tools to drive multiple design options.

We also welcome longtime Savvy member, Paul LeMay to share his thoughts on innovation as he prepares to take on a new role as Director of Engineering at the Parker Hannifin Hose Division in Cleveland, OH.
