Perhaps the most important element to effective use of TWI is the understanding and practical application by leaders to use Job Relations techniques. One course of Optima’s three-course TWI Certification Program, this one-day TWI-JR workshop explores the purpose of JR to support Job Instruction (JI) and Job Methods (JM) in the use of TWI as a strategy to drive stability and continuous improvement in the workplace. Developed during WWII, TWI-JR is still relevant in every sector of work and organization. Participants will:
- Learn methods to become more effective leaders by understanding their own personal styles of leadership through a DISC analysis
- Discuss characteristics of effective leaders they’ve experienced
- Examine their own individual strengths and opportunities
The session will then explore the fundamentals of TWI-JR and discuss gaps and also the challenges in their workplace with interactive case studies and team exercises in this engaging six-hour course.
