J.D.’s mission is to accelerate business performance using Lean methodologies for product and process preparation. He practiced Lean NPD for 25 years based on the Toyota Production System 2P/3P methodology and has a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy and a M.S. in Manufacturing Technology.
Brian Kopas, Management Consultant for TBM Consulting Group
Brian has over 34 years of operational and continuous improvement experience. He has held Vice President and Director level operational leadership roles in a variety of industries including wood products and furniture, architectural glass, precast concrete and HVAC. Brian has deep hands-on Lean experience having led multiple organizations through successful Lean transformations. A key element of those transformations was his extensive utilization of the Lean Product Development methodology Product and Production Preparation (3P). Brian employed these methods to insource existing and develop new voice of the customer driven products, enabling significant growth in sales and profitability.
